Bob, I find it ironic that you claimed the site I presented had an agenda. Everyone, including Biblical scholars on both sides of the isle have an agenda of some sort. And I'm sorry, but those that wrote the editions of the Bible had an agenda as well.

However, the "agenda" the site I presented has is religious tolerance. You'll notice, the site presented both the conservative and liberal viewpoints on every passage, including this one.

As for your comments on there being "little differences" between the passages I'm surprised by you Bob. Anyone who has a good command of the English language knows a single word can change the context of a passage... and there is more than a few differences in the passages you posted.

If you want to make an argument that shameful lusts, degrading passions, shameful things, evil desires, vile affections, dishonourable affections, vile lusts, sinful desires, shameful longings and wrong things are all one in the same be my guess. I consider it a dishonest opinion, since EVERY ONE of the above are different translates of the same Greek phrase.

I know you already attacked me for posting this previously, and attacked the site because it had an "agenda" but everything it says is cited. I don't speak Greek... and I'm sure you don't either. And given the above, those that do speak Greek AND share the same views on Creationism can't even agree on the proper translation of a single Greek word (as shown above).

I don't feel the need to post any other passages that have some potential errors in translation, or that have differing translations between editions of the Bible, because to be quite Frank, I don't like the way you responded in the other thread.

Feel free to read the site I posted above... if you can't do so because of this supposed agenda, perhaps its your agenda you should be taking a closer look at. Because, the information I presented (and that site presented) was gleaned from articles written Dr. Rembert S. Truluck, Doctor of Theology (Southern Baptist Theological Seminary). Perhaps he has an agenda too... but at least he's well-studied in the matter, which is more than either of us are.
