Actually Jhall, I when I was in management I had an open line with Microsoft on this issue, but I discontinued the dialog with them because so many others didnt want the move, one of them being one of the people that helped found the site.

Without being able to get the databases the moving and coding of information would take a lot of time, whereas if we had the databases incorporating them would take a relatively short time frame.

I like the idea of moving, the idea if having better control and functionality in the site overall. All arguments I proposed and more. Just didnt sit well with some.

I hope you dont receive the accusations of "stealing the site" lol, I personally didnt like it, it wasnt fun. lol

anything that can help dcs is worth discussing, and personally ?
never found dwelling on why didnt work in past to be helpful, my suggestion ? stick to the why it would be better, ect,
this could be a great move for dcs, or maybe not. Tell members, and managers why it is great, post link again to one that is v board or whatever it is ............

Marge is right, I want to look forward not backward. I think I've laid out a pretty solid argument, so perhaps the managers can let me know what some issues I haven't covered might be :)
