Welcome niteliteme! Bob, as usual, had some great things to say. He is great at giving food for thought. (Thanks Bob!) I only have a few minutes this AM, but wanted to welcome you to our group.
Hang in there, keep posting and reading, and be kind to yourself. You will not recover from this divorce over night; no one really has an answer as to when true healing comes. Even those of us who are "oldies" have times where something comes out of the blue from our divorces, and it's necessary for us to work through it. The great thing about that, is that usually, it's a much quicker process as time goes on.
Keep contact with your stbx to a minimum, making it only about property division, etc. Lean on friends and family to get the support you need. You can do this!
Keep on keepin' on,
Heather
